Lost Manuscript

Babel MS 6

Only small cuttings of this manuscript survive, making reconstruction of its page size -- let alone its extent -- impossible. What survives tells us that this presented the biblical text in thin columns surrounded by the gloss.

Notes:

In addition to the cuttings in Colchester: University of Essex Library, Harsnett H.a.34 and H.a35, there are similar cuttings which are blank in each of these volumes - one in the first, and two in the latter - which we can surmise come from the borders of the same manuscript.
