Lost Manuscript

Babel MS 5

Only one tall, thin strip is presently known from this manuscript but that fragment is enough to suggest that this layout of this elegant Bible volume. The text missing between the two sides of the fragment is the length of 54 verses from the Pauline Epistles; the implication is that this was a bicolumnar manuscript, from which we have a cutting from the bottom left corner of a leaf.
