The dark leather over the pasteboards is rather worn, but the centrepiece is identifiable as a variant of Pearson, Oxford, xix but has no background lines so is definably not that version used in Oxford or in Cambridge. Evidence of green cloth ties. Title painted on fore-edge: 'Ferus in eccles'.
