Plain calf over pasteboards, fillets to edges. Rebacked, sewn on five thongs. Two holes on each fore-edge for ties, now lost.
- ?Richard Bancroft (1544-1610), archbishop of Canterbury, 1604-10: the remains of a tab intended to provide an author and title label might suggest his practice (see MS Babel 18) but the fragment in this book is not from a manuscript he is known to have used for the purpose.
- Samuel Harsnett (1561–1631), archbishop of York, 1629–31.
