Augsburg: Heinricus Steyner, 1537
Oldham, Blind-stamped, DI.h(3) / 617. A rolled panel encloses a saltire made of double-rolls. On four thongs, rebacked. Evidence on upper board of there having been three nails for two straps, and on lower board the corresponding large metal clips.Faint signs of title written vertically (foot towards upper board) on fore-edge. Oldham proposes either London or Cambridge for this binding, with a date-range of 1521-37. The final terminal date is that of this printing; it may be that Oldham had this volume in mind when proposing that year as the roll's last appearance.
