Mainz: Balthasarus Lippius (sumptibus Arnoldi Mylii), 1599
Gold-tooled fillet intersecting at edges; Whitgift arms as centrepiece (BAB stamp 3); remains of ties of green waxed cord on upper station on upper board and both stations on lower board; a substantial length at the lower station.
- John Whitgift (1530–1604), archbishop of Canterbury, 1583–1604.
- Richard Bancroft (1544-1610), archbishop of Canterbury, 1604-10: this can be assumed from the fact that this was the usual descent of books from Whitgift to Harsnett.
- Samuel Harsnett (1561–1631), archbishop of York, 1629–31.
