Colchester: University of Essex Library, Harsnett H.f.29 ii
(recto) Hii ¦¦ nou ¦¦ Ipsi ¦¦ si ¦¦ Do ¦¦ i ¦¦ D ¦¦ l'a
(verso) n ¦¦ dicto ¦¦ s ¦¦ neus ¦¦ tibi ¦¦ te ¦¦ ce
Four-line initial for the start of the psalm: a plain lombard in shell gold on a pied background of pink and blue, with thin white tendrils to the interior. Initials for the start of each new verse (which show on the recto side) are lombards, larger than text-size, done alternately in red and blue.
The image shows both Harsnett, H.f.29 i and ii, with this fragment being that closer to the title-page and further from the camera.
